What we collect
Currently, none of our products collect personal data. We don't use analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or third-party scripts that monitor your behavior. When you use our products, your data stays on your device.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes. If any of our products require cookies for essential functionality (like keeping you logged in), we'll always be transparent about it and limit their use to what's strictly necessary.
Third-party services
Some of our products use third-party services for authentication or syncing — for example, Google Sign-In or Apple's CloudKit. When you use these services, those providers may collect data according to their own privacy policies. We as a company do not receive, store, or have access to any data collected by these providers.
We don't embed third-party trackers, advertising pixels, or social media widgets on our website or in our products.
Email communication
If you reach out to us via email at hello@usefriendly.app, we'll only use your contact information to respond to your inquiry. We don't add you to mailing lists or share your email with anyone.
Product-specific privacy
Notely
Notely is designed as a local-first notes and knowledge workspace. Desktop libraries live in local portable .notely files, and encrypted libraries and backups keep your knowledge base protected on your device. Nothing is uploaded by default.
Timely
Timely is built around local, offline use. Calendar, reminder, and meeting-note data stays on your Mac for the current release. If sync launches later, it will be designed around encryption and clear user control.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how we handle data, we'll update this page and make it clear what changed. We'll never quietly start collecting data without telling you.
